Every platform is different, so we focus on the details that change the user decision. A strong review should explain what you can open, what happens after a pull, and what limits apply before money moves.

How we source facts
We compare platform claims against source material and outside evidence. Official platform pages carry the most weight for terms, shipping, eligibility, and product mechanics. Outside sources help us spot recent changes, promo language, user objections, and market context.

- Public checkout or account-flow evidence when available
- Third-party reviews, press releases, marketplace profiles, social posts, and recent user discussions
- Archived research notes and dated source extracts kept in our internal tracker
How we handle affiliate links

How we score platforms
A published review's star score is the average of four 1-5 scores, each scored directly from the same verified facts shown in the review's spec table — not a separate subjective judgment. We round the average to one decimal. A platform only gets a score once it has a published review; we don't publish a placeholder or estimated number.
Buyback / cash-out clarity
Does the platform state a clear buyback percentage or sell-back mechanism, and how official is the source?
Odds / item-pool transparency
Are pack odds or the item pool shown before purchase, and how specific is that disclosure?
Shipping / payout speed
How fast and how clearly documented is cash withdrawal or physical shipping?
Promo / offer value
Is there an active, current Rip Report promo code or sign-up offer on the platform?
Freshness checks
Digital pack platforms change fast. Prices, available packs, referral offers, shipping charges, payout language, and eligibility rules can all move. We use dated research notes and repeatable checks so pages can be refreshed without rebuilding the research from scratch.
Before a new page goes live
We re-check the facts that matter most to a signup decision: offer status, pricing, odds, buyback, shipping, and restrictions.
When a platform changes terms or launches a new product
We update the maintained fact record first, then update public pages that use the changed fact.
On recurring refreshes
We re-run source checks for pages with commercial intent, especially promo pages and high-traffic reviews.

A Rip Report page should help you answer five questions: what can I open, what can I pull, what happens after I pull it, what does it cost, and what should I check before I sign up? If a claim does not help answer those questions, it does not belong in the main review.
